Biography :
Timothy Tio was born in Sabah. He grew up in a small town. He doesn’t have many friends during his childhood so TV became his best friend.
After dropping out from art school at age 21, he went on to start his artistic career as a web designer. Uncertain of his future, he switched from job to job and ended up in an advertising agency.
Amazed by cartoons and movies since young, he decided to switch from advertising to film editing. Due to his bold, excellent graphics and motion graphic techniques, in a short time he moved up a notch to become a designer.
One day, he tried his hands in directing and delivered a 1 min short experimental that landed him a Gold award in 2003.
Currently, he's career focus is in Film Directing.
